Legislation available here. This Act of Court allows parties to a court action to appeal a judgement straight to the Supreme Court - but a party must first receive the permission of the court. To obtain permission, the party must show a fair and just reason for requesting permission and that allowing such an appeal will not unreasonably prejudice the rights of another party. This procedure is the rough equivalent of the 'leapfrog appeal' in English and Welsh law.
